Until further notice all appointments will be triaged by a GP or a Nurse. If they decide you need to be seen, they will organise a face to face assessment. For your safety we have restricted access to the surgery by only allowing those patients who have been invited to attend by a clinician.

If you have been invited to attend the surgery by a clinician, we will be asked to wear a face mask/face covering and to call the surgery when you are outside the building. When the clinician has put on their PPE, they will come and get you and take your temperature.

It is vital that during this pandemic that our patients understand that they should still continue to seek medical attention for conditions and illnesses unrelated to the virus and in an emergency, that they call 999 for help.

We are increasingly concerned that patients are risking their health and even their lives by not seeing a GP, going to A&E or dialling 999 when they develop symptoms such as pain or shortness of breath, because they do not want to risk contracting coronavirus or add to NHS burden. However, we want to impress upon you the message that if you feel you require help - please contact us - we are here for you.
